This would be an important chance for you to make a significant move in helping with reducing current global warming.

You will be pleased to know that there are several means of improving your mileage, saving money and promote environmental issues. You may already know a few but I'm sure there will be some that you may not have heard of before.

Secret #1: Make sure that you get your gas when it's cooler which is probably at night or early morning. The reason being that temperature influences whether gas expands or contracts, so you really will need less fuel to fill up your car with gas when it's not hot out there.

Secret #2: Maintaining a car properly will also help with fuel consumption as a poorly maintained car can waste up to 15% on fuel consumption. It is very important to clean your filters, replace faulty spark plugs or injectors and to change the oil every 3,000 miles, improving efficiency if you use a synthetic oil like Mobile One.

Secret #3: Keep an eye on your tire pressure as this too will influence in over working the vehicle, making it even harder on the engine. You should not over do either so check out the correct pressure in the vehicle manual and driving with cool tires will also reduce wear and tear.

Secret #4: Make sure you travel with the lightest load possible as the lighter the vehicle is the less fuel it will consume and it will also drive and respond better and you will also feel like the car is going faster. Secret #5: Drive at a reasonable speed but always take notice of speed restrictions and never race drive. You could also trying changing to neutral when going downhill but the underlying fact is that by driving at 55 MPH instead of 75 MPH you will reduce mileage by 20%.

Secret #6: Another way to help with fuel consumption is by reducing drag, so keep your windows right up and remove any kind of roof rack if it is not in use.

Secret #7: Have an alternative fuel booster like a water fuel saver or an HHO gas system installed into your vehicle. This change depending on what vehicle you own will result in you saving up to an incredible 40% on mileage. You will find that these HHO systems are very cheap and simple to install.

Fuel savings are possible, you just have to work at it. I am sure you will be just raring to go, especially with the way gas prices are today. You can discover all about these HHO gas converters at WaterFuelSavers.com which will answer any more doubts you may be having.

Discover Water Fuel Technology Here >>> http://www.gas4free.com

You will save Literally $$$s in Fuel Costs IMMEDIATELY

Repair And Maintenance Expenditure On Hybrid Cars

By Danny Green

The sales of hybrid cars are increasing persistently in the UK as well as in the US. As many more automakers are venturing into hybrid cars, the consumers are getting used to this innovative technology, and are inclining en route for buying these "green" cars; hybrid vehicles are dependable and are not destructive to the environment.

Hybrid vehicles have not been reported to require any major technology failure. However, just like the conventional vehicles, hybrid cars do need maintenance on a regular basis to keep performing, and running smoothly. Considering that hybrids run largely on gasoline engines, they tend to have a maintenance schedule.

The oil, and filter changes have to be done on a regular basis. On the other hand, in case of a hybrid, the intervals involving the changes can be comparatively larger because of the electric system that chains the gasoline engine in these vehicles. You must also get well-timed engine tune up, and get the associations, and power cords checked to reassure that everything is functioning well.

There is noteworthy fuel effectiveness in a hybrid vehicle, though the question that arises instantaneously is whether the economy on the fuel offsets the maintenance expenses that are necessary for a hybrid. It is also a reality that a hybrid car costs more than its equivalent gasoline model.

The repair and maintenance cost of different hybrid cars vary according to their model as well as maker of the car. Some cars are expensive to maintain than others; all depends on making of the car. The cars that are made with reliable technology by keeping in view all the modern standards require less maintenance than others. Before going to any repair of the hybrid car, one should check if it is under warranty. A new hybrid car may have one year warranty of the parts. However, in different countries and locations, the warranty period may vary.

The continuance that a hybrid requires for the hybrid precise components depends upon the manufacturer of the car. In case of a few cars, the battery arrangement might need to be altered, after a particular number of miles have been driven. When it comes to the gasoline engine in a hybrid, the same protection is necessary as would be if it was a non-hybrid car. This, for the most part, means that the oil needs to be changed later than about five thousand to ten thousand miles. This depends on the type of the vehicle and the driving environment.

People also buy hybrids for the reason of the tax benefits that they offer. This may be correct, and the scope depends upon the type of vehicle as well as the position where the car is purchased and driven. When it comes to the protection of a hybrid, it is sheltered by a warranty. On the other hand, at some point, the warranty is going to run out, and you would have to bear the charges of the preservation.

Other than maintenance, there are also repairs, which may be required at some point in time. There comes a time when the battery needs to be replaced, and they are expensive. As long as a warranty lasts, one can afford to get repairs, and maintenance, but after that, it gets expensive to keep the car.

About the Author:

Discover more about Lexus Hybrid Cars, visit the Lexus website for more information and to book a test drive.

Water Powered Fuel Cells For Cars

By Joel Adkins

The price of gasoline has been one of the most heated topics of conversation for quite some time now. Gas is about $4 a gallon nationwide. Now gas has to now be factored into the family budget along with groceries and daycare.

More and more people are telecommuting for their job and SUV sales might be in big trouble! What if you could get gas as easily and as affordable as you get water? That would be a dream come true for most everyone.

Actually, it would be a down right miracle, wouldn't it? The fact is that it is true. You can fuel your vehicle with water!

Yes! You can turn your car into a water burning hybrid and it will work for almost 100% of all vehicles. Is this for you?

Even if your car is new and is still under warranty, you can still enjoy this advantage because it is a do yourself project and may be withdrawn at any time. It does not matter what type of vehicle you own and it does not even matter if it runs on diesel. The only vehicle which has not been tested is the hybrid.

There is no special type of water that must be used. There is no formula that should be mixed. We are talking plain old tap water!

It does not matter what type of vehicle you own. It does not even matter if it runs on diesel. This is something you can do yourself for less than the cost of gas for one month.

Water can be used as fuel for your car. It is used to supplement gasoline. Interestingly, very little water is needed!

It will also improve the quality of emissions. You can get all this while saving you money. Many people currently use this water combustion technology and find it very successful.

Many people are currently using this water burning technology and finding that it is very successful. Some experts estimate that most cars will be using this technology by 2012. Why wait for the automotive industry to lead the way and waste anymore time or money.

About the Author:

It would also contribute to lessening the oil wars, and being able to breathe air that is free of carbon monoxide. Rebuilt Engines Funding has come from both private and government sources. They suppose that there has to be some good reason why people are wondering whether hybrid cars are worth the money and checking their wallets and savings accounts to see whether they can afford to buy a hybrid car.

There has to be some reason why other people wouldn't consider shelling out the money for a hybrid car because they feel their conventional car gets them to where they need to go just fine. Here are some of the reasons why someone might choose a conventional car over a hybrid car and vice versa.

Hybrid cars are more expensive than conventional cars: because hybrid cars have a complex internal design, they do still have a fairly hefty price tag. On the other hand, conventional cars, which have become more efficient in design as the years have gone on, are quite affordable these days. Many people are selling their old conventional cars in favour of newer, more efficient versions.

They are so inefficient in fact, that some people even give their old cars away. However, since a large percentage of the general population has never owned a hybrid, there aren't many people selling used hybrid cars yet. Therefore, the average person looking to buy a hybrid would probably have to purchase a new one from a car dealer.

Both a hybrid car and a conventional car use similar types of batteries: a hybrid car and a conventional car both use lead acid batteries that hold enough energy to power a small electric motor. These batteries are what you call "gear reduced". That means that they can turn over this motor at approximately 300 rpms. Torque is generated to turn over the engine and the entire process is what starts the main engine.

However, even though a hybrid car uses a lead-acid battery, the battery it uses to drive the car's electric motor is of a different construction entirely. This kind of battery is known as a 'deep cycle battery' and it can be compared to the batteries that are used to move electric fork-lift trucks, some milk floats or golf carts.

That's the main difference between a hybrid car and a conventional car. One person could choose a hybrid car because it makes them feel more secure. For example, if a person buys a hybrid car, they can feel secure because their car will be less likely to run out of petrol. Another person might choose a conventional car because the price of petrol doesn't really bother them that much at all.

However, a conventional car provides security as well, but of a different sort. With a conventional car, a person can be sure that they can always go to a scrapyard, if they need to replace old parts for their car. On the other hand, those with a hybrid car will more than likely have to pay some pretty pricey repair receipts if something goes wrong.

However, the final decision remains all yours. There are certain risks involved with both kinds of vehicles. But those who like to try out new things might just consider splurging out on a new hybrid car.

About the Author:

If you are interested in the working parts of New Hybrid Vehicles, just visit our website at http://new-hybrid-vehicles.com You can get a unique content version of this article from the Uber Article Directory.

Can Water Fuel Cells Cure The Energy Problems

By Alexis Jameson

Currently, the globe is experiencing major difficulties trying to find ways to conserve energy sources which in turn will not harm the environment. Water fuel cells were developed several years ago, and kept quiet by those energy providing powers which are making a huge amount of money. The water fuel cells were created to use water as a method of fuel for vehicles and to replace the current use of gasoline.

The water fuel cells hypothesis after being proven to succeed was shot down before manufacturing, due to the fact that world power energy providers did not want to lose any income.

There are a number of experiments developed by normal ordinary blue collar individuals on the drawing board. However, implementing these developments and transferring them from the drawing board to the market, is not so cut and dried.

There is too much resistance from phony politicians which will lie on national television about pushing the issues, causing individuals to create quality work, only to be shot down, sometimes literally, as a result of mere greediness.

Anyway, after the energy crisis has moved to one of the many top priority problems in the world, a man invented a way around using fossil fuels to power the machinery used to increase the economy, and died at a young age. According to sources, this man died of an unexpected medical conditions, the hindsight of the entire mess of energy conservation leads many to believe something else. There is another belief because the plans for his development were conveniently lost.

There are many people working behind the scenes, trying to copy the technique of the deceased individual which created the water fuel cells concept. Thus far, there has been a few successes, but the concept has not been copied according to the original details, which is causing some problems with the whole technique. Then there is the problem of selling the concept to big motor corporations, that have recently closed, or restructured causing the unemployment rate to skyrocket.

As long as the water fuel cells are brought into the current situation other alternative sources will benefit from these introductions. There needs to be a positive group of people to stick together and bring all these creations and inventions into a way of life as soon as possible.

About the Author:

Are you spending more money on gasoline for your car? Gas may have come down, but in most places it's currently hovering around three dollars per gallon. Unfortunately, there's no guarantee it won't continue to go up again. Well, here are six steps you can take to keep a little more of your money in your wallet and away from the pump.

1. Keep tires properly inflated. Improperly inflated tires are harder to spin and create extra drag. Check your tires frequently - it doesn't cost anything! Not only will you save on gas, but you'll be driving safer.

2. Check tire alignment. Tires that aren't in alignment make your engine work harder, which means burning more gas. Check your tires alignment every 6 to 9 months.

3. Brakes. Have your brakes checked and aligned, at least every six to nine months. Inefficient, or poorly aligned brakes make braking less efficient and reduce overall mileage.

4. Make sure your engine is tuned. An improperly tuned engine can burn a LOT more gas than necessary. Have dirty or worn spark plugs replaced.

5. Limit idling. When you are idling, you are getting exactly zero miles per gallon. while it takes more gas to start your car than it does to idle, you can actually save gas by shutting off your engine if you are going to be idle more than 30 seconds.

6. Improve your driving. Don't over-accelerate just to brake, like accelerating between stop signs more than you need to reach the next stop sign. Avoid stop-and-go traffic; do your errands during off-peak times when there is less traffic.

There are a lot of ways to improve gas mileage. Start be visiting sites like www.gasforlessmoney.com and start putting these gas-saving tips into practice. A gas mileage improvement of just 10% actually translates into a savings of $5-$10 by reducing how frequently you have to fill your tank!

About the Author:

The author is currently working through her Accelerated Nursing Programs.

Water Fuel Cells For The Cars Of Tomorrow

By Alexis Jameson

The initial invention of water fuel cells caught a great deal of attention. The idea that we could run our vehicles on water instead of gas or diesel was a huge concept, and one that wasn't embraced perhaps as well as it needed to be. These cells could literally change the direction that our country is heading politically, environmentally, and economically.

Water fuel cells are based on a technology that would transfer power first through water as a conductive unit and then break apart in a combustion like process to give the engine hydrogen to run one while the oxygen would be released harmlessly into the air. The scientific implications of such a design would be life changing for all of us, and science has not yet offered us a chance to embrace this technology.

In water fuel cells, the water would basically "combust" to become hydrogen and oxygen. The car's engine would burn through the hydrogen and incur the basic energy that we see from gasoline and diesel powered engines today. The concept was originally invented by Stanley Allen Meyer, but the totality of his principle was eventually rejected by scientific communities.

Many believe that water fuel cells were not embraced because it was likely that the economic implications for homeland oil fields and the political "benefits" of Middle Eastern relations would be compromised. Thus, we have yet to understand whether these cells could really be implemented in our daily life. What if we could exchange our gas and diesel powered vehicles for those that could run cleanly on water?

Water fuel cells could very well be our answer to oil dependence and they could alter the way we live our lives immensely. Whether that is a good political move or a bad political move is entirely about perception. Nevertheless, these cells have the potential to make us an independent country while solving one of the most difficult aspects of pollution that we have ever faced.

Gasoline and diesel powered vehicles are responsible for the majority of ground level ozone, which is a deadly and planet killing pollutant. People in large cities suffer from the effects of ground level ozone in the form of asthma, respiratory diseases, and heart disease. More than 2000 people per year die from ground level ozone complications. Water fuel cells could literally remove the threats of this deadly form of air pollution.

As we look toward our future and the future of our cars and trucks, we need to see developments like water fuel cells in order to ensure that we will still have a planet to live on in the coming generations. We need to reduce our dependence on Middle Eastern oil in order to have a more cohesive existence with the rest of the world. Such developments would change our world in ways we have yet to even imagine.

About the Author:

Are you spending more money on gasoline for your car? True, there are some scams floating about which are giving people the wrong idea about using water to power your car. You can spot these from a mile off as they will tell you to use water in your fuel tank! This is a big "no-no" and obviously something that should never be done. Hydrogen fuel for cars is a little more technical than that, but never fear. It is not so complicated that you won't understand it. It really is possible for anybody to convert their car or truck (yes it works find for trucks too) to a water/hydrogen fuel mix using today's technology.

So how exactly does hydrogen fuel for cars work? You will usually see this touted as "run your car on water" and that description is accurate enough as hydrogen technically does come from water. You are still going to be using gasoline, just not as much which will result in significant savings at the pump. Water and gasoline work together in the hydrogen fuel for cars system and this results in excellent economy, more miles per gallon, less greenhouse gas emissions and increased engine efficiency.

To convert your car to use water or hydrogen (officially known as HHO or Brown's Gas) you will need to pick up a guide. These are available online. One of the most popular and respected guides available is called Water4Gas. The guide will take you step by step through building a kit for your car that will allow the use of water. It can literally cost under $150 and be set up in a day or two depending how time you can have to allocate to the task.

People are only now, in the grip of an oil crisis, realizing the amazing benefits of hydrogen fuel for cars. Water is a clean substance. It does not emit harmful gases to the environment. This means you are lessening your impact on global warming. Think about what would happen if a large percentage of the population did this - we could literally slash greenhouse carbon emissions.

GM and other big car makers plan to start selling alternative fuel cars within the next few years. They and oil companies do not want you to know how easy and cheap it is to convert your current car to this clean technology. It would result in less car sales and less gas being purchased. For you the benefits are clear - more savings at the pump, better fuel economy and less environmental impact.

If you're tired of being a pawn of the oil companies and wish to power your vehicle on your own terms and your own budget, then it's obvious that you need an alternative fueling solution, such as water power or hydrogen power. If that is indeed the case and you truly wish to save money and help protect the environment, then you should visit http://www.AlternativeFuelingSolutions.com, a highly popular website about water and hydrogen fuel for cars.

About the Author:

Sean Saunders will provide you with the expertise on hydrogen fuel and the best way to use it. According to the Chevrolet Website this major car company and parent General Motors has been reviewing applications for the 100 consumers in three major commuting markets that will be their real life test drivers for this extensive test. Some 100 lucky consumers will begin driving vehicles rated as using Zero Gas and having Zero Emissions for up to 50,000 miles.

This is the test we have been dreaming of - vehicles that use no gas and produce no noxious emissions! And these vehicles will be on the roads of the U.S. in New York, California, and Washington, D.C. The chosen consumers will drive this vehicle on their daily commutes and errands throughout these large metropolitan areas. The results from these test drives will provide answers for researchers refining fuel cell technology in future GM and Chevrolet vehicles.

The vehicle developed for this historic test is the Chevrolet Equinox equipped with Fuel Cell Technology. The EPA certified Hydrogen Powered Equinox Fuel Cell as a "Zero Emission Vehicle" (ZEV). This means it emits only water - no smoke coming out of this tailpipe! In fact, instead of a tailpipe, it has 4 water vapor outlets on it's backside.

Fueling up is quick for these vehicles, taking about 5 minutes at the yet to be designated fueling locations. 3 fuel tanks storing up to 9 pounds of hydrogen at 10,000 PSI, will provide up to 200 miles of driving for these next-generation vehicles.

The Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell combines hydrogen and water to produce electricity, which powers the electric drive system for the Equinox. This is a fully functional "real world" vehicle. According to Chevrolet's website, "Equinox Fuel Cell has been crash-tested and is designed to meet all applicable 2007 U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. And you will enjoy the benefits of driver and front passenger air bags(2), the StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System, four-wheel antilock disc brakes with Traction Control, and OnStar." In other words, it's as safe to use as any vehicle on the road today, although it is a little heavier than it's sister 6 cylinder gas powered Equinox.

General Motors is proud of this test, which is being billed as the "WORLD'S LARGEST FUEL CELL VEHICLE FLEET" in a recent news release at GM Media online. "GM is demonstrating its commitment to hydrogen fuel cells as the answer for taking the automobile out of the environmental debate and reducing our dependence on petroleum," said Larry Burns in the news release. Burns is GM Vice President, Research & Development and Strategic Planning. "The Equinox Fuel Cell is powered by GM's most advanced fuel cell propulsion system to date, and demonstrates an important milestone on our pathway to automotive-competitive fuel cell propulsion technology development," he added.

More information can be found on Chevrolet's website, where they have pictures and specs on this new vechicle. This test has been promoted for over a year by Chevrolet, with the first Hydrogen powered Equinox of the project already being delivered to the Army for a "non-tactical" functional test according to an article in September of 2006 on USAToday.com.

This is a major commitment by GM and Chevrolet. They are certainly stepping up to the table in the effort to bring this technology into the main stream. According to a news release at the 1006 Los Angeles Auto Show, Ed Peper, Chevrolet General Manager, said, "the fuel cell technology is seamlessly integrated into a uniquely styled crossover vehicle that is distinctively Chevrolet. The Equinox Fuel Cell joins Chevrolet's family of advanced gas-saving and alternative fuel vehicles."

Look for these test vehicles to start tooling down the roads of these metropolitan areas in September, 2007. Hopefully, they will pave the way for volume production of this already promising technology. In an article on the website ETA.co.uk an estimate of when this technology might be available for wider implementation(commercially viable) included the year 2010.

About the Author:

Charlie Griffin will provide you with the expertise on hydrogen fuel and the best way to use it. Believe it or not, there's a fairly simple way for this to be accomplished, and that is by saving money on the gasoline we are using. Instead of cutting back on the amount that you are driving, you might be interested in knowing another way of doing it.

Most people don't realize that the technology which allows us to save cash on gasoline has been around for about a hundred years. It does this by allowing us to burn water for fuel instead of oil based products. Of course, the oil companies did their part in suppressing this knowledge so that they did not lose out on the money. You can put this into practice in your car today.

Of course, you are not going to be burning water all of the time. Although it is possible for you to do this, most people tend to use these water fuel cell kits in order to convert their car over to a 50% water burning model. It will still be necessary for you to get gasoline from the filling station but you will only be using about half of the amount that you are currently using. This can add up to a considerable savings, especially considering the cost of gas in recent years.

You would think that it was hard to install one of these water fuel cells into your automobile but in actuality, nothing could be further from the truth. As a matter of fact, many people were able to follow the step-by-step instructions and have their automobile working on water within a weekend's time. The parts that you need are simple to find in your local area, either at an auto parts store or a hardware store.

All of the information that you could possibly need is readily available on the internet. The blueprints that you should follow can be found at a number of different places and they offer you step by step instructions that take you from the beginning all the way to the end. Don't worry about how difficult it is, most people find it to be quite simple.

One of the best things about installing a water fuel cell into your vehicle is that the savings are almost immediate. Since you're only going to be spending about $100 one parts for this water fuel cell, it is almost nothing for you to make up. Many of us spend that many times over on gasoline every month.

The environmental benefits are also quite interesting. We are aware of the fact that oil leaves off fumes that are very harmful to the earth but water does not do that. As a matter of fact, the only thing that water leaves behind whenever it burns, is water.

If you are living your life on a budget, spending a lot on gasoline can certainly stretch it to its limits. If you were to install one of these water fuel cells into your automobile, however, you can begin saving money almost immediately on your average expenses. All you need to do is follow the instructions and before you realize it, the savings will be coming your way.

About the Author:

Begin saving money on your monthly expenses by installing one of the water fuel cells on our website.

A Hydrogen Conversion Kit, Is It The Real Deal?

By Peter Woop

We can produce Biofuels that we can use for powering our society by converting organic matter into fuel. We will utilize these fuels as energy source replacement to the current fossil fuels that we are using. Its aegis ethanol and what have been derived and drawn from plants like sugar cane, as well as vegetable and corn oils are contained in the biofuels' umbrella. Although often used as an alternative for gasoline, ethanol doe have other uses. Although statistics vary, the use of ethanol as an alternative to gasoline is on the increase, and while it is only a low 2 percent currently, this figure could rise to 30 percent by 2050 if the The International Energy Agency (IEA) is to be believed.

On the other hand, this biofuels research needs to be improved and a study from the Oregon State University showed that it can be convenient and profitable. Unfortunately, despite many people's hatred of petroleum based gasoline products, nothing yet developed is as efficient.

We measure the efficiency of any energy by how much we obtain from it in relation to how much was used to create it. So far man has not managed to find an energy source that did not require more energy to produce it that it gave back. The input energy is what it takes to produce the end-product which is the energy that's essential for our necessities and the process by which these energies are converted and put to use is what greatly matters.

We measure it like this: the input energy is the effort required to achieve the output energy we are looking for. According to a study by the OSU, the energy efficiency of corn-derived ethanol was found to be only 20% and that gasoline made from petroleum is 75% energy efficient with 69% energy efficiency for the Biodiesel fuel. On the brighter side, the study reported that cellulose-derived ethanol weighed up against the extremely efficient nuclear energy showed an even better efficiency of about 85%.

With the enticing and promising effects of biofuels, investors are undeniably anticipating increased profits from it and this may bring about the rise of the grain futures market of the Chicago Stock Exchange that will soon whip away investment activities from the oil futures in NY. This has no become a major topic as scientists are of the opinion that within just over twenty years (2030), we will be using upwards of 30% of this type of fuel for our transportation needs. As what a confident energy markets analyst had said: the growth in demand for diesel and gasoline may slow down significantly if the government would monetarily sustain firms that are distributing biofuels and continuously promote the use of eco-friendly fuel.

There are a number of nations which are concerned and attached with the advance of biofuels. Each year, it generates ethanol of about three and a half billion gallons. The United States, while being the world's greatest oil-guzzler, is already the second largest producer of biofuels behind Brazil. Meanwhile the European Union lags way behind with only four million tonnes per year. Now eighty percent of Europe's biodiesel comes from rapeseed oil with the remaining twenty percent from soybean and a little from palm oil.

About the Author:

Hydrogen Conversion Kits are no doubt the most powerful way to save a large amount of money otherwise spend on your gasoline bills. Some people think the hybrid car is the best thing since sliced bread. Other people say it'll just pass. Yet other people again say they think they can save a packet, but you're not sure it's really worth it. What is the truth, and how do you separate fact from fiction with all of the stuff that is being said to you? Below, you can read and consider the common hybrid vehicle myths.

Hybrid cars are just the same as electric cars: This is not true because hybrid cars are fuel-powered most of the time. But they have what are called 'battery assists'. The assist is powered by a nickel-metal hydride battery pack that is rechargeable.

You are guaranteed to save money with a hybrid car: If you are doing city motoring, you may economize on fuel and you may not. The same goes for long-distance driving. There are so just many different factors involved. It has been said that if everyone bought a hybrid car, the gas consumption would drop by only 10%. That's not a very big decline, now is it?

A hybrid cars battery can run out: A hybrid car's battery should not run flat when you are actually driving it. The engine of a hybrid car does not idle when stopped (at a red light for instance). What does it do instead then? It recharges its battery. So there's no need to worry about a hybrid car stopping on that score.

The hybrid car's rechargeable battery only lasts for 2 years: A hybrid car definitely would not be worth purchasing if this was the case. A hybrid car's rechargeable batteries usually come with an eight-year warranty.

If I run out of fuel, I can keep driving on the hybrid vehicle battery: Bear in mind that, a hybrid's battery is an assist. That means that hybrid cars still run on gas. After you run out of fuel, the battery could keep the car running for a little while. However, the car will stop running very soon.

Hybrid vehicles will soon put conventional car sellers out of business: This probably won't happen anytime soon. The reason for the delay has to do with the how much a hybrid cars cost. Many people simply can't afford one. Also, people just aren't too sure whether they will really save money on a hybrid car. Therefore, they are slow to join the rush of people who want to own a hybrid car.

Hybrid cars will only save you about 88USD per annum: I did see something on the news the other day, but it may not be true. If there's something you really want and there's a lot of gossip surrounding it, you simply have got to start digging around and do some research yourself. There are many different types of hybrid car, and many different manufacturers make them. This means that there may be much more involved than we have discussed here. A hybrid car may help you, and it may not, but the final decision is up to you.

Therefore, please don't worry too much about what other people say. They probably have only heard other people passing on gossip. Do your own due diligence and think it out for yourself. Try the Internet to get your information. The manufacturer's literature is also quite useful, if you stick to reading the facts and skip over the gloss. Check that whatever the literature claims is also in the guarantee.

About the Author:

If you are interested in hybrid vehicles you ought take a look at our website http://hybrids.the-real-way.com This and other unique content '' articles are available with free reprint rights.

A Hydrogen Conversion Kit - Really Full Of Value

By Garry Goodbridge

Our society has stated using biofuels as an energy source which uses organic matter. At this point, aside from gasoline made from petroleum, we were able to come up with Biofuels that are also as energy efficient.

To measure energy efficiency, we need to know the quantity of the required utilised energy that we can gain from a certain amount of input energy. Despite our best efforts, fuel sources always require a greater input than they are able to supply back. While it is true that the end product energy is what's more valuable for our needs and that the input energy is just the effort it takes to produce the end-product, taking into consideration that what truly matters is the conversion, is important.

We measure it like this: the input energy is the effort required to achieve the output energy we are looking for. Hybrid cars help to save on fuel consumption and environmental degradation through pollution because they depend on electricity and not on fuel for their functioning. Hybrid cars were actually conceptualized to save the environment; by depending less on the conventional fuels, they were meant to be friendlier to the environment.

The hybrid car cuts down on fuel usage and emission by using an electric motor to supplement a fuel engine; this allows the car to get as much power as required, remaining friendly to the environment. There is more fuel efficiency in hybrid cars than the cars that are powered solely on gas, and there is more practicality to them than the cars that are powered solely on electricity. By using both electricity as well as gas, the vehicle pollutes the environment almost negligibly and helps save a lot on fuel consumption. There is enough energy in the hybrid car to be driven adequately on the freeway and with less fuel that too! They are great for 'stop now, go now' kind of driving that you need to do when the traffic is heavy.

You can simply plug in your hybrid car into a normal electric socket to get it charged. The car can take power from itself or from the gas engine to make up for the power that's lost during stop and go travel. The following are the reasons why the hybrid cars are believed to be more beneficial than the conventional gasoline powered cars.

The greenhouse effect is largely responsible for the depletion of the ozone layer; it is a widely known fact that the CO2 released by vehicle has a major part to play in this effect. Any vehicle utilizing more carbon dioxide will be capable of producing more fuel. Due to the fact that the hybrid car uses electricity to operate and not just gas, the amount of danger it brings to the environment is markedly low.

Hybrid car purchases have tax deductions associated with them; so, you stand to make some real money benefits. Hybrid cars can maintain higher values at resale; therefore if you selling a hybrid car, you will probably get a higher price than what you bought it for. The size of the engines of the hybrid cars is smaller than the gas driven cars because they have another source of absorbing power too. As the engines are used together with the electrical power, they are good performers, even though they are smaller in size.

The technology of the hybrid car is the best answer for the problem of increasing air pollution due to traffic today. By making less use of fuel, the fantastic technology behind hybrid cars make them special compared to the usual cars. However, hybrid cars are unaffordable to most people today; yet, this must be considered as a sort of investment that will keep paying off.

About the Author:

While many of us can't afford to get a hybrid car due to financial hardship, we can always check out Aston Martin pics at thesupercars.org

Hybrid Cars from Honda: All You Need to Know

By Irene Mmari

Hybrid automobiles are thought to be the automobile of tomorrow and because of the rising cost of gas prices, hybrid cars are indeed suitable in today's gas economy. The benefits are such these automobiles are environmental green and do less damage not only to our surroundings but also to the people in the community since the discharges coming from these automobiles are less hazardous than that of the usual cars, so we breathe in a cleaner air that is pollution-free.

Individuals who own hybrid automobiles also benefit from certain privileges from the US government. Benefits such as free parking spaces and many more can be achieved if you are an owner of a hybrid automobile. It is important for everyone to realize that gas supply is drying up and they must conserve as much as possible. Given this situation, deciding to use hybrid cars is indeed a good idea since it can help us conserve fuel thus prolonging the life of the fuel reserves. Hybrid car keepers practically don't feel the hassles of the constant hike on the prices of fuels.

The campaign to endorse hybrid automobiles as an option to save fuel is now organized and pushed through by a lot of car makers, nowadays. These days, Honda being one of those makers to promote hybrid automobiles has access to their own stocks of hybrid cars to be released in the market place. There are so many companies nowadays producing gas-efficient hybrid cars and Honda is just one of those foremost companies to do so. Honda had been producing cars of high quality for a very long time now and they are an eminent company in the automobile manufacturing industry especially with their fuel efficient car engines. Honda is now taking the issue further by building-in the hybrid technology into their cars.

Honda produced a model with the integration of the hybrid engineering and that model is called the Honda Civic Hybrid. While Honda Civic is no longer a new introduction, this latest variant of the model has the hybrid technology included in its engines. Though Honda Civic has always been know to give you great mileage, but with the hybrid engineering incorporation, you can expect further gas advantage. One of the easiest ways for you to be able to do this is to cut down on the amount of gasoline that you are using every month. Instead of limiting the amount that you are driving, there is actually another way for you to do this. You might be surprised what you understand what it is.

For about a century or more, the technology has been at our fingertips to use water for fuel in your vehicle instead of gasoline. Although you may never have known about this, that is simply because the oil companies have the discovery under wraps so that they did not lose out on the profit they were earning. You can capitalize on this old news by putting it into practice in your modern car.

You might be surprised to know that instead of using water all of the time, you are probably going to be converting your car over into a water hybrid. In this way, you will be burning about 50% gasoline and 50% water. Although you will still need to fill up at the pump from time to time, you will be cutting down your fuel consumption quite a bit. This can save you a lot of money on your monthly budget.

You would think that it was hard to install one of these water fuel cells into your automobile but in actuality, nothing could be further from the truth. As a matter of fact, many people were able to follow the step-by-step instructions and have their automobile working on water within a weekend's time. The parts that you require are easy to find in your local area, either at an auto parts store or a hardware store.

All of the information that you could possibly need is readily available online. The blueprints that you should follow can be found at a number of different places and they offer you step by step instructions that help you from the beginning all the way to the end. Don't worry about how difficult it is, most people find it to be quite easy.

The best part is, you can begin saving money your first month upon putting this technology into your automobile. Since it is going to cost under $100 in order for you to get started, the savings will typically begin to be realized within a week or two. Many of us spend this much money easily because we commute long distances to work.

The environmental benefits are also quite interesting. We are aware of the fact that gas leaves off fumes that are very harmful to the earth but water does not do that. As a matter of fact, the only thing that water leaves behind whenever it burns, is water.

So, if you are frustrated with the amount of money that you are spending on gasoline, adding a water fuel cell to your automobile can certainly take up the slack. Pick up a blueprint this week and make sure that you follow the instructions closely. You can begin saving money on your gasoline expense tomorrow.

About the Author:

If you would like to see how a water fuel cell can save you money, visit us today

Why Biodiesel is a Good Alternative Fuel

By Joseph Then

I don't know a thing about you but I'll bet that you are scratching your head when you realize that there is another rise in gasoline prices. You may have heard of alternatives to gasoline but you never actually know how to go about doing it. Well, in this article, I will tell you about biodiesel.

Biodiesel has been getting a lot of attention because it is one of the most reliable sources of alternative fuel. Many companies have started turning to biodiesel to fuel their vehicles so they can save money and pass that savings to consumers.

There is more than one reason why biodiesel is a good alternative. Let me tell you more about the advantages:

Ease of Use

Trust me on this; using biodiesel is very simple. It is so simple that you do not need to make any alterations to your vehicle. If your vehicle is already running on diesel, you can use biodiesel.

The only issue that arises from switching to biodiesel is that biodiesel actually cleans your engine and fuel lines. This can cause clogging in the filters of your fuel system within the first month or so of using biodiesel. This is a small problem, though, that is easily fixed. Once the debris from the lines is cleared you will see no problems.

It Is Easy To Make

Biodiesel can actually be made at home by anyone. The process uses simple ingredients that can be bought in your local grocery store. You can use old plastic bottles to mix and create the biodiesel.

Biodiesel's only bi-product is glycerin. Glycerin is not harmful as it is an ingredient used to make soap. This is actually helpful!

It Is Very Safe

Biodiesel is very safe. It is safe foe humans, animals and the Earth too! It is safe because biodiesel is non-toxic and burns cleanly thus producing less pollution.

You do not need to worry about your house catching fire if you make biodiesel at home because it is not going to catch fire and it does not even have the risk of an causing an explosion.

It Is Renewable

Since biodiesel is made from common ingredients that are renewable, it will never run out, unlike oil.

So there you have it. All the benefits of biodiesel. Biodiesel makes a great alternative to fuel with the rising cost of fuel. So, what are you waiting for? You should try it!

About the Author:

Fuel prices has been on the rise and perhaps Biodiesel fuel is a good alternative. Owners of Hybrids will benefit from a 10% rate cut on insuring that car.

The option of renting or leasing is open as it will not effect your 10% price cut. The criteria that insurance companies use to profile their drivers puts those that purchase a Hybrid in the group with less risk which is why they are willing to offer this discount.

The criteria would indicate that this group of drivers will drive more carefully and would not bring forth as many insurance claims as a typical driver would. The classic summary of this particular group includes both genders with the age of 40-60, married and economically secure.

In an attempt to clean up the environment, many are offering various incentives to those willing to buy Hybrids. If you decide to get a Hybrid you should know that you are being environmentally friendly and keeping some cash in your pocket. Predicting an upward turn in Hybrid sales, insurance companies are getting ready.

Drivers that opt for alternative fuel cars will be given the same savings. These reductions will represent a significant saving on your annual auto insurance policy. Every insurance company is not extending this concession so far.

The government also extends tax cuts for people who buy Hybrids. The top insurance fees are set for those that drive safe vehicles. There are discrepancies in exactly how safe Hybrid cars are.

The best protection in safety features are normally included in Hybrid cars. When a Hybrid is involved in an accident it will still offer more protection than other vehicles. The most effective ways to keep your car insurance low is to buy a Hybrid, bundle up all of your insurance needs in one package, and ensure that your car is equipped with passive restraints, airbags, anti-lock brakes and certain anti-theft devices.

Those that give all of their insurance needs to one company, are good students or drivers with cars that have passive restraints, airbags, anti-lock brakes and certain anti-theft devices will enjoy an even bigger savings on their annual premiums.

You can reduce your insurance costs by asking for quotes from reputable quotes sites.

Discover Water Fuel Technology Here >>> http://www.gas4free.com

You will save Literally $$$s in Fuel Costs IMMEDIATELY

About the Author:

To learn more go to Low Cost Auto Insurance and Discount Auto Insurance. This is just one of many alternatives we can in an effort to replace our dwindling fossil fuels which we depend on so much. The bio fuels umbrella includes under its aegis ethanol and derivatives of plants such as sugar cane, as well as vegetable and corn oils. But ethanol products are not the only ones developed for gasoline purposes. The International Energy Agency (IEA) tells us that ethanol could comprise up to 10 percent of the world's usable gasoline by 2025, and up to 30 percent by 2050 but today, the percentage figure is only two percent.

On the other hand, this biofuels research needs to be improved and a study from the Oregon State University showed that it can be convenient and profitable. At this point, aside from gasoline made from petroleum, we were able to come up with Biofuels that are also as energy efficient. The way energy efficiency is measured comes from how much we derive from the source compared to how much was used to extract it.

Despite our best efforts, fuel sources always require a greater input than they are able to supply back. We measure it like this: the input energy is the effort required to achieve the output energy we are looking for. The OSU study found corn-derived ethanol to be only 20% energy efficient (gasoline made from petroleum is 75% energy efficient). On the brighter side, the study reported that cellulose-derived ethanol weighed up against the extremely efficient nuclear energy showed an even better efficiency of about 85%.

With the enticing and promising effects of bio fuels, investors are undeniably anticipating increased profits from it and this may bring about the rise of the grain futures market of the Chicago Stock Exchange that will soon whip away investment activities from the oil futures in NY. This has no become a major topic as scientists are of the opinion that within just over twenty years (2030), we will be using upwards of 30% of this type of fuel for our transportation needs. One certain energy markets analyst has said, growth in demand for diesel and gasoline may slow down dramatically, if the government subsidizes firms distributing biofuels and further pushes to promote the use of eco-friendly fuel.

There are several nations which are seriously involved in the development of biofuels. To put this into perspective, they produce a huge 3. Despite their love of gasoline, the United States is the second largest producer of bio fuels. Meanwhile the European Union lags way behind with only four million tonnes per year. Most of this biodiesel fuel is derived from rapeseed oil with some from soybean oil and a little from palm oil which combined make up the remaining twenty percent.

Discover Water Fuel Technology Here >>> http://www.gas4free.com

You will save Literally $$$s in Fuel Costs IMMEDIATELY

About the Author:

Limited time only! Even as a work in constant progress, the Hybrid Electric Vehicle technology has truly done a lot to improve the gas-dependence situation. Hybrid cars has also saved consumers from having to spend so much on fossil fuels and has even helped save some taxpayer money.

What is it under the hybrid car hood that is seems to set it apart from the other cars? Let's take a peep and try to take a look at just how these wonders called the hybrid cars work.

A Combination

The keyword in all of this is the word "hybrid." An HEV basically brings out the best in both electrical power and fuel. By incorporating both an electrical motor and a gas engine, it allows the vehicle to switch back and forth between energy sources. Of course, the usual case is that the car really depends solely on the battery and electrical motors to run the vehicle.

You may ask what the gas is for. The car will still need gas to operate an engine that charges the battery which, in turn, runs the whole car. However, the good thing about this set up is that not much gas is required to charge up those batteries. Hence, hybrid cars really only need so much gas to fill their significantly smaller gas tanks and therefore saves people from having to cash out so much on gas.

The Distance

In order to actually see how a hybrid car works, one would have to take one for a spin on a full tank and compare the results in mileage with a car that runs only on gas. One will definitely see the huge difference in cars dependent on electric motors. Going a great distance is achieved by the way the hybrid works. There are 3 essential technologies that allow this to happen.

The first technology in hybrid cars is known as the regenerative braking. This includes an electric engine that applies resistance to the drive train which, in turn, causes the wheels to stop or to slow down. The energy from the wheels turns the engine which in real time acts as a generator and transforms the energy wasted during coasting and braking into electricity. This electricity is then reserved and stored in the battery until it is required by other functions in the electric motor.

The next technology is known as elect motor assist and it provides additional power to assist the engine in acceleration like when speeding up or ascending. This means that the smaller engine (electric motor) is used and is more efficient than an internal combustion engine that requires and burns a lot of gas.

Another technology that is starting to pick up in a lot of modern hybrid vehicles is known simply as automatic start and shutdown. When a hybrid vehicle stops in the middle of traffic or at a stoplight, the whole engine will shutdown as well. This prevents the engine from wasting energy and fuel from just being idle. And when the accelerator is pressed again, the engine will automatically start up so that acceleration is made available. It's a nifty option that has gained popularity from city street drivers. Combine these three technologies and this is essentially how hybrid cars work.

Discover Water Fuel Technology Here >>> http://www.gas4free.com

You will save Literally $$$s in Fuel Costs IMMEDIATELY

About the Author:

Planning to drive your own hybrid car? The thing is, not all of these information are relevant to someone trying to pick out the best hybrid model to buy. Let's have a look at some relevant information on hybrid cars and why most buyers nowadays prefer them.

Mileage

When you think about a hybrid car or when you choose one, it all boils down to one thing: mileage. What shoppers didn't know in the past is that mileage means everything. It dictates how far a car can go on a gallon of gas and even tells you a little something about the gas that is being used and how much emissions a car makes. When you go out shopping for a hybrid car, this is probably the first thing you will have to keep an eye on through a quick scan of a hybrid's EPA rating.

Features

It wouldn't hurt if you learn some information on its features, too. These new cars are not just designed to look great and save gas. It's their technological features that should be taken to consideration.

Hybrid Engine - First of all, the hybrid engine is something that everyone should marvel about. Many hybrid vehicles actually use two engines and this is important hybrid information for anybody in the market for a hybrid vehicle. One engine runs on gas and it provides juice for a separate electrical engine that will help power a hybrid.

The Battery - Another great technological feature is that as a hybrid runs along on the road, the gas engine and the movement of the vehicle help to charge special battery cells that power the electrical engine. This is a great way to conserve energy and it does not take a lot of fuel to run a hybrid either. Lastly, a stop start feature that is gaining recognition in the motorist world is something that was first seen in hybrid vehicles. Basically, this technology allows a car to shut down almost completely when it is on stand still which means no gas is being used when one is stuck in traffic. The car starts up and moves again when the accelerator is pressed again.

The Advantages

When it comes to advantages, the hybrid car is simply fully-loaded with them. Current manifestations of these vehicles definitely dispel the idea that hybrid cars are too small and too unattractive to be seen driving around in.

Looks - Take the Toyota Prius as an example. It is one of the leading hybrid vehicles that not only boast of one most fuel-efficient technologies, but it looks good as well. Its sleek body has been the inspiration for many other car manufacturers looking into getting into the hybrid car craze but trying to make their cars look good as well. Some mid-SUV range vehicles are also now getting into the hybrid engine craze and this is a perfect idea for those who want to make a change but still want to own a car that's large and commanding.

For everyday usage, hybrid cars are worth looking into. Know what to look at first and remember to ask all the important hybrid car information such as what technology it uses and what mileage particular models can achieve to the gallon.

Discover Water Fuel Technology Here >>> http://www.gas4free.com

You will save Literally $$$s in Fuel Costs IMMEDIATELY

About the Author:

Find the best hybrid car information that will help you choose. Just since a year back, people are successfully building and installing water fuel systems that are giving some really excellent results into a complete range of cars, trucks, and SUVs.

Just twelve months later there are already water fuel experts and there are even water fuel conventions where people with water fuel conversions get together and show off their fuel saving, hydrogen powered cars.

You can now pick up on the internet published guides that give you the step by step plan to convert your car into a water fuel system vehicle. This science works and has been tested by thousands of motorists, but you have to be wary of the actual guide that you end up purchasing.

The problem is that a lot of people without experience are not doing their homework by testing out a water fuel conversion on their own vehicle and therefore not be qualified for recommending water fuel systems. We though have tested an amazing 12 different HHO water converters and only 2 came up with the goods.

The successful water fuel system candidates provide a guide with extensive illustrations, photos and an easy to follow guide on how to successfully install water fuel systems. This information is provided by professional water fuel system experts who dedicate their time to installing HHO fuel converters. It costs between just 75 and 100 dollars for all the necessary parts which you will get back in no time at all on gas fuel savings.

In general, water fuel systems, or HHO conversion kits as they are sometimes called, are easy to install and the materials are available at the hardware store or online. Follow the simple step by step instructions and you can have your system up and running in a few hours.

The only troublesome question that most people have is whether they you just buy an HHO kit outright or whether to try and actually build one on their own. The answer is really down to just how much mechanical ability a person has.

** Buying a pre-made kit from a vendor means you get a self contained unit that's ready to install out of the box. You know it's put together properly and has been tested before shipping. However, these kits cost up to $500.

** Making your own kit saves you money, and gets you familiar with the technology, but a few of the parts need to be positioned very carefully to be effective. You may find building your own system takes more time since it'll need to be tested and tweaked.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as alternative fuel sources is concerned, especially with gas prices as they are at the moment and it is difficult to say when this cycle will stop. You should have a look at other articles listed on the links below and discover the "cheap water fuel report", which will help you find the best tested water fuel system.

Discover Water Fuel Technology Here >>> http://www.gas4free.com

You will save Literally $$$s in Fuel Costs IMMEDIATELY

Water Fuel Advances

If you are in the Southern California area, you are invited to Ozzie Freedom's Water fuel "convention", held every weekend in Van Nuys, CA. Each Saturday, Ozzie and a growing group of water-car enthusiasts get together to demo their vehicles, exchange stories, trade tips, and help others convert their cars too.

They told us just how a couple of them started to meet up and share ideas, but it didn't take long for people to just walk over and have a look as well. This area has been converted into a sort of Mecca for water fuel saver enthusiasts and is often visited by skeptics who had been lead to believe that this was just a scam. This though has become the ideal meeting place for people who just want to see it with their own eyes and ask a few questions.

Ozzie is a pioneer in water fuel technology and has dedicated his time in promoting manuals that prove just how you too can run your car partially on water and this has caused a certain amount of controversy in the automobile industry. This water fuel saving technology is known as HHO conversions and has produced some amazing results with regards to mileage and all from a small home-made converter that will cost you under $150 to complete.

Is your car a poor mileage converter? Well this is a proven way to increase millage and Ozzie has demonstrated exactly how in his manual. Remember that he is out there every weekend hands on with people who want first hand knowledge and he really is an friendly honest man. This century will be remembered for the introduction of HHO gas and how this will lead for having a cleaner environment.

It is in fact the older vehicles that produce most Carbon Monoxide so you can really see how important these converters are. HHO systems help to reduce co2 omissions as they burn the fuel more effectively and cleanly, so you can see that this will be an advantage for all types of vehicles.

HHO systems will work on any car, truck, SUV or motorcycle. Old or new, gas or diesel, you can likely save 10% to 40% with an HHO system. Check out the details by going to the link provided below and clicking on the Water 4 Gas link. The meetings are fun, inspirational, and you just may save some cash too.

Discover Water Fuel Technology Here >>> http://www.gas4free.com

You will save Literally $$$s in Fuel Costs IMMEDIATELY

Water Fuel Technology

Why Water Fuel Technology

You may have heard on the news or Internet how people are using plain water to power their car. It's an amazing story, especially with fuel prices the way they are, but is it true, or just a myth?

In fact, water fuel technology does work and has been in use since World War II, in tanks and fighter plane engines. These water injection systems helped to reduce fuel consumption and cool engine temperatures under tough conditions.

Hydrogen Cars emit only water, and don't contribute to global warming at all. Developed in the 1960s, these cars became popular in the past few years due to increased gas prices and worries about the environment. Unfortunately, they are not readily available, and there are almost no Hydrogen fuel stations in operation.

Japanese scientists have been working on a car that converts water to electricity, which drives the electric motor. These cars may be available in North America and Europe, but not for several more years

Discover Water Fuel Technology Here >>> http://www.gas4free.com

You will save Literally $$$s in Fuel Costs IMMEDIATELY
